ABOUT HUMANICKS

Humanicks Consulting Ltd was formed in 2006 and has since then worked on numerous projects in the UK as well as projects in Australia, Denmark and Italy. Our core value is delivery of no nonsense advice.  Our approach is simple - understand, assess then apply knowledge. There is rarely any need to make it more complex than that.

Nick Shorter: “I recognised that many consultancies of similar sizes to Humanicks offered only one type of consultant, while the projects I worked in are all multi-disciplinary. Projects benefit from consultants who have knowledge in the disciplines to the left and right of them, otherwise the consultants are blinkered and the team is not as informed or efficient”.

Over 15 years and across many different projects Nick has gathered people together that he saw as the best in their disciplines, not just in his core discipline of Human Factors but importantly from the closely related disciplines of Safety Assurance and Design Engineering. This allows Humanicks to offer consultants who are mutually supported by their team mates. If you engage a Human Factors practioner, they are supported by Safety Assurance and Engineering professionals, and vice versa.
